Support for Your patients

When they need it the most

Bridging the gap between symptoms and solutions—supporting patients as they wait for diagnosis, treatment, or surgery.

Too often, patients wait months to see a specialist or to receive the next step in their treatment. There is nothing harder than living with symptoms and uncertainty in that in-between space—especially when it feels like you’re facing it alone. My role is to step into that gap, offering patients the support, tools, and reassurance they need while they wait, so they feel heard, cared for, and prepared for what’s ahead.

These numbers may not come as a surprise to you or me, but for patients, they can feel overwhelming—and they rarely provide hope. Instead, they often spark anxiety, raise more questions than answers, and take a toll on quality of life. I’ve been there myself, and I know how hard it can be to see the light at the end of the tunnel when the numbers feel so daunting. That’s why I work with patients to build practical tools that support them day-to-day, helping them improve their quality of life—both mentally and physically.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • There is no fee to download the poster or to refer patients to this website. Clients can decide for themselves if working with me feels like a good fit.

  • You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you prefer. In many cases, patients are simply waiting for a specialist referral, which can feel like a waiting game for both you and your patient. I step in to provide support during that time, so you don’t need to add extra work to your plate.

  • I am not an allied healthcare provider myself—I am a certified Health Navigator with lived experience. While allied or complementary care can be part of the support I suggest, I create a truly personalized plan for each client. Sometimes that means focusing on other strategies that better fit their needs.

  • I am based in Canada and have a refined knowledge base for Canadians, though my repertoire covers the United States and Australia. I am doing my utmost to ensure I have a breadth of knowledge in these geographies, their healthcare systems and the struggles clients go through.

  • Unfortunately neither the ‘navigator’ or ‘lived experience’ hats fall under any service that clients can submit to their insurance.

  • The more information and knowledge I have, the more I can be valuable to my clients. If you are keen to support me with any information about your work, your clinic, your healthcare system, any allied healthcare or other partners in your eco system I am forever grateful.

And of course, the more clients who know about me the more we can support them together.
